I was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. After studying in Italy and the U.K., i returned to my hometown where i reside until today. I made my first steps in photography in 2012, when i took up a photographic course for beginners organized by the Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete. Before completing the course i started taking part in competitions. I have participated in many contests, receiving a plethora of awards.
In May 2014 i was awarded the title “Aphrodite” followed by the titles “Crown 1” & “Crown 2” of the GPU in June and November of the same year respectively. In December 2019 i was awarded the title of artist EFIAP/b of the Federation of International Art Photography (Federation International de l'Art Photographique) for my continuous participation in international art photography competitions. Until today I am an active member of the Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete, participating in various groups, exhibitions, projects, photo festivals and have also been invited to judge many international photographic competitions.
