Harsha Maduranga Jayasekara is a popular Sri Lankan
Photographer, Lecturer, Trainer, Photography Judge & a writer with over a decade of professional experience, specialized in wedding, fine-art, and portrait photography. He is the founder of the popular wedding studio “Foto Station”, which serves a truly specialized manner for the couples on their very special day. Harsha is a product of Nalanda College, Colombo and he further gained his academic knowledge on photography with a Diploma from the National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka. He also holds a Diploma in Writer ship & Communications - University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Harsha showcased his debut solo exhibition on art photography - “Pixel Art” at Harold Peiris Gallery in October 2010.
His skills were acclaimed and awarded by many international and local competitions including two
consecutive Trierenberg Super Circuit Gold Medals. Some of the major achievements are,

Harsha’s enthusiasm and dedication to photography had resulted in delivering and initiating many social projects. He has been an advisor for the Ministry of Education for the
syllabus and exhibition and been a judge for the “Kavitha Photography Competition” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education. Harsha has contributed to forming many photographic societies for schools and actively working with the younger generation to educate and promote photography among them. Harsha works with a large student community and has conducted more than
a hundred workshops on different topics all over the country including Jaffna. He is a visiting lecturer
at the University of Kelaniya.
Harsha is a member of the State Advisory Council for Photography, the former President of Photographic Federation of Sri Lanka, and former Executive Director of The National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka.
